About Delyth Wyndham

I am undertaking my PhD in the Faculty of Health and Social Care at the University of Chester having been awarded the highly sought-after Tom Mason Memorial Scholarship. My thesis is considering how flexible shared parental leave may shape infant feeding decisions in the UK. With a background in business and technology (BSc Business Information Systems) I spent my early career in local government.

Having developed an interest in policy and particularly policy failure, I successfully completed my Masters of Public Administration (MPA) with the University of York. Following a change in perspective prompted by the birth of my sons, my attention turned to policy on infant feeding and parental leave. My main research interests include: policy, cascading policy failure, infant feeding, maternity, paternity and parental leave, decision making and mixed methods research.
